Spent 20 years at a general trading company, working in global trading and the overseas expansion of Japanese companies. After a five-year posting in India, he created numerous regional revitalization projects across Japan through new business development.

He then moved to a startup, where he led new business development, strategic planning, M&A, and overseas operations.

He has an extensive track record in collaboration agreements with companies, local governments, and universities, the formation of consortia, and the planning and execution of industry-government-academia projects. He brings broad business experience spanning domestic and overseas markets, large corporations and startups, and the private, academic, and public sectors.
